I found out about Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros this summer, and was instantly in awe. They're a ten person band that is slowly gaining in popularity. Their song "Janglin" was even recently featured in a Ford Fiesta ad. Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros (say that ten times fast) manage to have a 60's, hippie-esque image while maintaining a modern sound. Truly remarkable, and today I have a really cool remix of one of their best songs: "Home". Enjoy.

First of all - I know it's been a while. I've had a busy week, and I've been thinking about the Mixhaüs's future. Not quite sure what's going to happen, but for now take a listen to and have a download of this awesome song by Jonny Price. It's called "Love Don't Cry (Skeletons Remix)" and it's slowly climbing up my iTunes 60 Most Played playlist. It starts with some indie singing, then around 3:15 Jonny starts rapping. I was lucky enough to attend The Monster Ball last night, and let me just say... I was throughly amazed. It was truly an awesome show with an incredible set (including: a subway car, a Central Park replica, a tornado, a piano that catches on fire, two skyscrapers, a piano inside of a car, and a fountain that spews blood). If The Monster Ball every goes through your neck of the woods... it's definitely worth attending. Pictures below!

Miss The VMAs? Here Are the Videos of the Best Performances.

Did you really miss the VMAs last night? That's too bad... Here's a recap (with Videos!).
The night got off to a great start with Nicki Minaj and will.i.am performing their incredible song "Check It Out".

Eminem then started performing "Not Afraid" 
before the crowd was surprised by a visit 
from Rihanna and the duo began performing 
"Love the Way You Lie".

British group Florence + The Machine 
(KHuss's favorite) then performed 
their song "Dog Days Are Over".

Taylor Swift then sang a new song 
forgiving Kanye.

Drake, Swizz Beatz, and Mary J. Blige 
proceeded to perform a new song, "Fancy".

Kanye West rounded off the night 
with an incredible finale, 
performing his new song, "Runaway" 
with Pusha T. This is not to be confused
 with "Runaway Love". It is far superior.

All in all, it was an incredible night. 
Lady Gaga even wore a dress made of 
raw meat as she accepted the Video 
of the Year VMA for "Bad Romance"!

VMAs 2010: Tonight, 9 PM!

Be sure to tune in to MTV tonight at 9 PM... it's bound to be a great show. Performances by: J. Biebs, B.o.B, Drake, Florence + The Machine, Bruno Mars, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, and more. Only dilemma? Tonight is also the Entourage season finale, featuring Eminem among other stars. Which to choose?! I think I'm gonna start with the VMAs, pause them for a quick break for Entourage, then go right back to MTV.

This is pretty awesome... say what you want about Justin Bieber, I don't really have anything against him personally, but I know people have vendettas against him and his music. And I get that. But tonight, I have a special Justin Bieber song for you remix fiends: "U Smile" -- 800 times slower! I know that sounds crazy, but seriously, give it a listen. You'll probably want to download it so you can listen to the song in full. Oh yeah, it's 35 minutes long. As one commenter noted, "Justin Bieber slowed down 800% might be the soundtrack to Heaven". Futurecop! - They're an awesome British electro band that my clutch cousin Lizzie introduced me to. The title of their debut album? The Unicorn & The Lost City Of Alvograth. Clearly they're not a mainstream band, and if you take a listen to their song "N.A.S.A.", you'll know this for sure. No words, just a truly great song. Around 1:10 the beat picks up and you can't help but think to yourself, "...Clutch." Definitely a lot more Futurecop! to be posted in the future.
