Someone recently sent me this song, "Home For The Holidays" by J. Cole, and I could not stop listening to it. J. Cole, who you may recognize from Jay-Z's "A Star Is Born", shows some serious talent on this track from his most recent mixtape, Friday Night Lights. Check it out.

Last week, I got an email (sent to themixhaus@gmail.com) that said: "There's this new artist... I just discovered his stuff from Chiddy Bang. His name is XV... he's kinda like a mix of Kanye and Kid Cudi."
I went to his website, www.vizzyzone.com, and was immediately struck by this guy's talent. I'd say he's more like a mix between Kid Cudi and B.o.B. Really good stuff. The rapper's name is XV, and this song is called "Mirror's Edge." Check it out.

It's Wednesday. I've decided to put up one of my favorite songs of all time from what is easily my favorite mixtape of all time: "The Prayer" from Kid Cudi's A Kid Named Cudi. You may have this already, but if you don't, download it now. Best line: if I die today the last thing you remember won't be about some apple bottom jeans with the boots with the fur. If only Cudi could get back to this kind of music... I don't know about you guys, but I'm not a huge fan of "Erase Me." We'll have to wait until Tuesday to see what his new album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, is like. Hoping for the best...
